2 washes were held, 20 youth got involved, and over $1100 was raised!

Dear Friends for Life:
Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus! It’s been quite a while since you’ve heard from us. We’d like to tell you why:
First, we had a major paperwork interruption, setback, malfunction. . . But finally we are back up and running and we plan to keep our lines of communication open.
Another issue we’ve had is the season. During the summer, our volunteers believe they need to go on vacations and spend time with their families. (Can you imagine??) But because of their strong beliefs, we are often a bit shorthanded in the office. I have discovered that I have too many things to do and not enough people to do them for me!
Also, our client visits have increased 13% during the past six months. We are thrilled to be available to assist as many clients as possible, but as relatively “normal” humans, we tend to have our limits. However, there may be some light at the end of the tunnel.
Recently, seven ladies attended our volunteer training class, six of which have already been serving with us. There are many areas available for service, some require the training class, some do not. We need:
We’re waiting for you. Please call soon if you’d like to help. (I’m planning to take a vacation and spend time with my family.)
Well, that’s our update. Soon we’ll be sharing about some of our exciting future plans. In the meantime, please know that we appreciate your love, prayers, and support of Alpha Center and our endeavors.
